2 week update

Update.Ugh.

Bust: 38
Under: 29.5
Waist: 29.5
Hips: 41
Thigh: 23
Arms: 10.5

Weight: 2 lbs lost.
Total inches: 5.0"

Eh. Slow Start. Then again, I really haven't made too many diet changes. I still enjoy a glass of wine at night, quesadillas as a snack and chips and salsa whenever I can. Nevertheless, I don't plan on quitting anytime soon so these next two weeks, I will be returning to my horrendous low carb diet (with the occasional glass of wine, for heart/health benefits of course!) Believe it or not, I have more energy! Sunday, the family and I (and the dog) FINALLY participated in the Via Recre-activa. You know, the one I blogged about TWO years ago, and had yet to participate in!!! It was nice. We took a two hour stroll with the dog and the skateboards. The kids had a blast. It felt nice to actually DO something on a weekend instead of sitting on our lazy @sses. Then, we went to the shop to continue our remodeling/painting adventure. And I now can't move my ass or my arms.

Two more weeks. Errrrrr.

Hi lisa here. Good for you I think a pound a week is a good way to go. I started dieting in September and it has taken me this long but Im at 22 pounds right now. It is definetly a very slow process, I love my carbs. Good Luck!!

@Amanda: especially since we have the Via RecreActiva so close... you have to join me. Maybe this weekend?

@Lisa: 22 lbs is AMAZING. I can only dream of such things. Congrats!!!

5 pounds is awesome! Slow and steady is the way to go, and pretty much the surest way to keeping it off. Keep up the good work. :)

I wouldn't worry too much about the pounds, but the inches? You go girl!!! 5 inches is fantastic!!!

Obviously we all know muscle weighs more than fat. For every pound of muscle we put on we burn an extra 100 calories a day. Just keep going girl!!!!

Well it's been two weeks and am looking for a report. Keep in mind that no diet should deprive you of some of the stuff you like otherwise you will fall off of it. Like you are already doing, the less chemicals and preservatives you put in your body the better, even fat is good for you, and necessary for the body to work the right way. If you get a chance download or rent, FatHead by Tom Naughton, it is an interesting documentary about the drug induced problems created for man.....

About Me

My photo
I've been living in Mexico now for about a two years with my hubby and 2 kids. Not exactly by choice, but we're here nonetheless. Luckily, I live with quite a few of the accomodations that i was used to in the states. In spite of those convienences, we also have a water tank with asbestos, outdated electricity, massive amounts of dust, caterpillars that burn your skin, and thousands of windshield washers on every street corner. My kiddos and I are learning to speak spanish and adjust to life away from our family and friends in the States.
