(started on his birthday... posted waaaay too late.)
Today my little monkey turns 8 years old. It's crazy to look back on old photos as if it were yesterday. Time flies fast and it's seems as if overnight he grew into a little man.
While I'm so excited to be sharing this day with him... it makes me sooo sad. My little monkey is growing up. I know. I know. Super sappy...... but my snuggle bunny is too old to snuggle. My bubble head has finally grown into his head. And my Stinkerbell..... well..... we still battle on the shower part.

About Me
- Refried Dreamer
- I've been living in Mexico now for about a two years with my hubby and 2 kids. Not exactly by choice, but we're here nonetheless. Luckily, I live with quite a few of the accomodations that i was used to in the states. In spite of those convienences, we also have a water tank with asbestos, outdated electricity, massive amounts of dust, caterpillars that burn your skin, and thousands of windshield washers on every street corner. My kiddos and I are learning to speak spanish and adjust to life away from our family and friends in the States.

Hello, I am new to your blog. I found it because we are building a house in mexico and plan on moving within the year and I could use all the help I can get. Check out my blog please :-). http://santafewhat.blogspot.com/
I just got done reading your whole blog. (lol yes i have a lot of time on my hands!) I really enjoyed it! You seem to have an exciting life there in Mexico. I wish I could have said the same when I went and lived there. My husband got voluntary departure and left in 2012 and is still in Mexico today. I spent 8 months in Mexico City living at his mother's house. I was living with his mom, sister, sister's husband and their 2 children in a small, two bedroom apartment! It was very tough trying to assimilate into a different culture. I found it too difficult for me and returned to the States. It was the hardest decision to make to leave my husband behind. Luckily, thank god for technology...we talk everyday on Facebook or on the phone! Its nice to read that other Americans can make it work living in Mexico! If I find out that my husband cannot return back to the States, I don't know what I would do! We have a baby together that is currently only 10 months old! By the way, the pictures of you house that you posted I was thinking WOW! How beautiful! I would like to read more but it seems that there is no more blog posts after Nov. 2011.
