I say stay positive! My husband was bitten by a dengue mosquito a few months ago (we also knew by the white spots on the mosquito) but he didn't get sick. Not all of that type of mosquito carry dengue. So keep your fingers crossed!
I've been living in Mexico now for about a two years with my hubby and 2 kids. Not exactly by choice, but we're here nonetheless. Luckily, I live with quite a few of the accomodations that i was used to in the states. In spite of those convienences, we also have a water tank with asbestos, outdated electricity, massive amounts of dust, caterpillars that burn your skin, and thousands of windshield washers on every street corner. My kiddos and I are learning to speak spanish and adjust to life away from our family and friends in the States.

Ohhhhh...praying for you mama....any symptoms other than the white spots? Nothing a nice bottle of wine cant cure.....:)
what white spots? our next door neighbor has dengue. Yuck, hope you don't have it, and if you do, you only get a mild case.
regards,
Theresa

Ugh... i hope not.
Sunshine: yes, a bottle of wine helped last night. Two bottles might have been better. ;)
Theresa: oh no! I hope it's only gonna be mild. I thought Dengue season was over in Nov... but apparently not! :(
Laura: that's good news!!! I thought ALL of them carried it. I hope mine was a dengue-free. Thanks for the hope!
